You really think it's news to me that what I write has no commercial potential? I went into this knowing what Carla Bley, one of the best of living composers said about not having the chance to sell out because no one was interested.
You don't understand that I don't have any interest in being acceptable to the news media or those who worship it. I come to beat them, not to join them.
after reading various blogs over the last twelve-thirteen years i think it's safe to say anyone who still believes in their "commercial potential" is just kind of hopelessly frivolous
ReplyDeleteI have come to appreciate how durable hopeful fantasy can be in the allegedly scientific, educated class. Even as they desperately cling to the myth that they don't practice hopeful fantasy.

ReplyDeleteI've always suspected, if I put one up that I'd get charged for a negative inflow. I did consider it last year after I hurt myself and had a lot of hospital bills.
