It's Time To Just Admit There Are People Who Choose To Put People At Risk And They Are As Irresponsible As The Worst Gun Nuts

I don't care what anyone says, in 2015, anyone who knows they are infected with HIV or hepatitis or any other transmissible disease who has sex with multiple partners is a total and inexcusable jerk.  That Charlie Sheen has apparently been sleeping around even after he knew he was infected, requiring people who went to his house to sign waving their right to sue an a court of law is just a sign of just what a massively narcissistic and selfish asshole he is.  Such waivers should be judged to be moot because there wasn't full disclosure by one of the parties, if that's not legally possible, it should be.

I'll extend that to say anyone who either has or encourages sleeping around when there's a possibility they might be infected with something is as much of an asshole as Charlie Sheen.  Anyone in the media that encourages that is a bigger asshole than Charlie Sheen as they are encouraging the conditions under which many millions of people are potentially infected by doing what they encourage.

That this has to be said this many decades after the HIV virus was identified as being passed through sexual intercourse and that the more people you had sex with the greater your chances of infection are is an indictment of the mass media of this country for totally betraying the reason they were ever granted corporate privileges under the Constitution.  Those should be conditional on providing vital information we need to protect ourselves and govern ourselves.  Charlie Sheen is, I will guarantee you, a bigger presence in American media than anyone telling you about safe sex.    Our media created him and enabled his juvenile selfishness.  They can all go to hell.

Update:  Tempting as it is, Sims, to post your many comments which I won't, as examples of the same species of thinking as that of McVeigh and Pierce and so many others, I don't want to drag the tone here down anymore this week.  You and your sci-power-ranger buddies have given me more than enough to work with over the weekend.

Update 2:  And in other non-news....

The "Brain Trust" proves that they never read anything before they snark on it.  I said "non-news".

QL, Gummom ...  how stupid do you have to be to take what Simels says as honest representation?
